Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho (L, D)
This morning you will take a two-hour drive by van out of Ho Chi Minh City to the quiet land of My Tho. Here, you’ll get acquainted with your bicycles, then enjoy a 40 km ride along a combination of well paved, sand, and dirt paths. Follow a local village path to the fascinating Cai Be floating market. After lunch, you can experience the age-old rhythms of river life on a two-hour traditional boat trip from Cai Be to Vinh Long. Meet your van for the drive to Can Tho City .
Overnight in Can Tho.
Ride: 40 km
Day 2: Can Tho - Soc Trang (B, L, D)
An early morning boat trip takes you to the bustling and colorful Cai Rang floating market. After exploring the market, take a one-hour drive to Phung Hiep, where your bicycle will be ready for your adventure. In order to start you cycle alongside a little river and under the shade of banana trees, through a tiny village and verdant rice paddies to the Mekong. Pass through local markets and villages before arriving at a beautiful Champa Pagoda. Visit the pagoda and learn about Buddhism in the Delta area. Before cycling to Tan My Village, you have a picnic lunch on the way. Tan My is deep in the delta. You have a chance to get to know about the Khmer-influenced architecture and the traditional way of life. End the day in Soc Trang. Overnight in Soc Trang
Ride: 48 km
Day 3: Soc Trang - Sa Dec (B, L)
Return to Can Tho by van and ferry, and then it’s time for a three-hour cycle to Sa Dec, through tree-lined country lanes, paddy fields, picturesque bamboo villages and quaint, winding paths. Stop along the way for a picnic lunch. Our van will pick you up in Sa Dec for the four-hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
